Do anagrams always need to be apt?

Not always. Occasionally, we come across unusual anagrams where the subject and anagram are unrelated (i.e. non-apt), but consist of two well-known names or phrases.

A further, long list of anagrams of Wikipedia articles can be found here and an even longer list of shorter anagrams can be found here. We believe this is probably computer generated using Alex Healy's program.
