The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ,
Moves on: nor all your Piety nor Wit
Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,
Nor all your Tears wash out a Word of it.

Time flies as an Arrow through miry day new
Not Watch, Sloth, nor Twirling can anything do;
Roll a Verse or Couplet - lo, luv'r, view:
Fruit flies like a Banana, too.
