Details

Jon Gearhart was the inaugral Anagrammy Archivist.

Jon held the world record for the longest anagram in the world for four years, with 18,870 letters, set in June 1999. His anagram of "The Hunting of the Snark" can be found here. The record was eventually broken by Richard Brodie with 42,177 letters in July 2003.
