Mey Kraus has been an active contributor to the Anagrammy Awards since June 1998.
Mey is one of the few Israeli anagrammers that have contributed to the awards. Having English as a second language has definitely not been an impediment to him being considered one of the greatest anagrammers in the world.
His role is to check for the originality of nominated anagrams each month.
Mey has won Most Decorated Anagrammatist in 1999, Most Consistent Anagrammatist in 2000 and 2001, Anagrammatist of the Year in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006, and Special Award for Services to the Anagrammy Awards in 2008.
